S/3519 Antique Treen 18th Century Spiral Candlestick

A good 18th century spiral candlestick, having a traveller for adjusting the height of the candle, and a hook for carrying or hanging. The spiral is seated on a fruitwood circular base, with excellent pole lathe turnings on the underside. The whole has a rich dark colour and excellent patination.
