S/3593 Antique Treen 19th Century Mahogany Money Box

A mahogany three section money box, having a false lid and lock and made to resemble a trunk, with end handles and of dovetailed construction. To gain access one unscrews a strut to the underside, which is divided into three sections. It is dated and initialled on the base in ink, 11/3/(18)70, and retains a patination.
