S/3623 Antique Treen 19th Century Oak Spoon or Letter Tray

An unusually small solid oak two division spoon or letter tray, in the manner of a cutlery tray, but with no signs of digs or wear you always find at the ends made by knives and forks. The whole, with a cut out central carrying handle and a protruding and rounded stepped base, is made of well grained timber of nailed construction. The whole has a good colour and patination.
