S/3667 Antique 19th Century Black Thorn Walking Stick
An amazing natural black thorn walking stick, having a top with a rounded ivory knob handle, with carved protruding decoration above an oval brass mounted hole for a strap. The stick, of bent natural form, is carved midway with a dog's face and a further carving of a lion's face below. The end terminates with a brass ferrel. It has a truly wonderful rich colour and patination.
