S/3668 Antique Treen Georgian Sycamore Tunbridge Ware String Box

An interesting sycamore white wood early Tunbridge Ware string Box in the form of a cottage, with a chimney having a hole to access the string. The whole is painted in attractive colours with curtained lattice windows, bay trees and a red front door, with crazy paving on the angled foot. The separate roof, with painted decoration, fits tightly onto the base.
