S/3702 Antique Treen 19th Century Boxwood Laundry Marker
A boxwood laundry marker, having a top piece that fits over the bottom section, which stretches the sheet or linen tight, so as to mark it with a code or room number. These were used in large country houses that had many bedrooms, often with individual bed linen. The whole has a good honey colour and patination.
