S/3716 Antique Treen 19th Century Fruitwood Cumbrian Knitting Sheath
A well made Cumbrian knitting sheath in fruitwood, having a needle end with a brass collar above a shaped octagonal collared handle. It has a groove below for the cow band, with a straight shaft. It has a lovely rich colour and patination.
