S/3730 Antique 17th Century Leather Child's Costrel

A rare small late 17th century leather child's costrel of traditional form, having a top with a raised open aperture and original thin strap handle. The whole, with pronounced stitching, is of a lovely rich colour and excellent patination, with slight historic damage to one side.
