S/3749 Antique Treen 19th Century Standing Herb Chopper

A fine quality and most unusual standing herb chopper, having a well turned fruitwood handle, above a circular milled edge steel column attached to a four bladed shaped cross sectioned chopper. One of the most interesting kitchen items we have handled this year. The fruitwood handle retains a patination.
