S/3663 Antique 19th Century Scottish Rams Horn Vinaigrette
A lovely quality Scottish rams horn vinaigrette, having a hinged silver lid (not hallmarked) that is extremely well worked depicting thistles and leaves. The top is centred with a yellow cut cairngorm stone. The silver gilt interior, with a decorative pierced face plate, is also hinged to take a scented sponge. It is a most appealing and excellent example and is in fine condition.
