S/3782 Antique Treen 19th Century Mahogany Book Box

A pleasing mahogany late 19th century book box, having gilded edges and a rounded spine that slides downwards on two screws, that reveals a small mahogany dovetailed drawer in the centre. The whole has a good rich colour and patination.
