S/3786 Antique Treen 18th Century Spiral Candlestick

An extremely good example of an 18th century spiral candlestick, having a spoon shaped traveller for adjusting the height of the candle and a hook for carrying or hanging. The spiral is attached to an oak well worn and burnt stepped base, which is of a most excellent colour and patination.
