S/3802 Antique Treen Late 18th. / Early 19th. Century Beech Pestle and Mortar

A most pleasing beech mortar, having four protruding lugs, one of which is a lip for pouring. The pestle is turned with two collars and a bulbous rounded end for grinding. The whole has a most attractive and solid form, a good colour and patination.
