S/3804 Antique Treen Early 19th Century Spiral Candlestick

An early 19th century spiral candlestick, having a traveller for adjusting the height of the candle, and a hook for carrying or hanging. The spiral is seated on a beech circular base. The whole has a rich dark colour and good patination.
