S/3800 Antique 18th Century Child's Armchair in Cherry Wood

A lovely 18th century child's armchair in cherry wood, having an oak back and seat. The shaped cresting rail is above a vase shaped pierced splat back, with well shaped arms to either side, raised on turned supports. The recessed oak seat, on a substantial frame, is raised on square legs, contributing to the overall pleasing design. The whole is in fine original condition, has a lovely rich colour and excellent patination.
