S/3687 Antique Treen 19th Century Flat Handled Love Spoon

An unusual flat handled 19th century Welsh love spoon, in a mottled and speckled wood, having a shaped top above pierced soul motifs, with a short stem above an elongated bowl. The whole has traces of original gilding throughout. The whole has a pale colour and retains a patination.
