S/3845 Antique Late Victorian Miniature Brass Bound Staved Barrel

A beautiful miniature brass bound staved barrel in alder and sycamore, having a silver three penny piece inserted in each end and dated 1901 and 1902. The skill of the maker exceeds all expectations. The whole has an excellent colour and patination.
