S/3850 Antique Treen 19th Century Arbutus Pap Boat

A lovely Swiss pap boat or invalid cup, having an underside carved with leaf ornament and the stem folded over to make a handle. The top edge at the handle end is delicately carved with leaf ornaments. It has exceptionally pleasing form and a rich colour and patination, which needs no further emphasis, a most desirable item for the collector.
