S/3923 Antique Treen 18th Century Lignum Vitae Sailmaker's Seam Rubber

A good 18th century lignum vitae sail maker's seam rubber in heart and sap wood, having a thirteen sided diamond shaped knop with octagonal chamfered body and flat pointed end in the traditional manner. The whole has an excellent rich colour and patination.
