S/3976 Antique Treen 19th Century Masur Birch Miser's Snuff Box
An interesting masur birch miser's snuff box of rectangular oval form, having two lids. The smaller has two finger holes and the larger, which is not noticeable, is full sized. Both have concealed hinges in the traditional manner. The whole has a lovely colour and grain, as often found with masur birch, and a good patination.
