S/3875 Antique Treen 19th Century Boxwood and Bone Thread Shuttle

An interesting boxwood and bone thread shuttle, having an interior spindle inset in bone ends with a side opening, that is within a shaped shuttle engraved with decorative circles and initialled B.M. and dated 1896. The whole has a lovely colour with bone ends, and is in excellent condition with a good patination.
