S/3877 Antique Treen 19th Century Mahogany Table Top Cotton Reel Box

A good quality mahogany table top cotton reel box, having a chamfered sliding lid that reveals two divisions for housing 15 cotton reels. It has three inset diamond shaped inlays, each with a central hole for the cotton to pass through when in use. The whole has a pleasing colour and retains a patination.
