S/3964 Antique Treen 18th Century Cherry Wood Muffineer

A fine quality and well turned cherry wood muffineer in three sections, having a perforated top with an acorn finial that screws onto the centre section, which in turn screws onto the urn shaped base section. The whole is seated onto a stepped and rounded base, with a carved circled vertical foot, which has some minor historic shrinkage cracks. It has an excellent dark rich colour and patination.
