S/3995 Antique Treen Early 19th Century Pair of Large Boxwood Butter Hands

An extremely good quality pair of large boxwood butter hands in the traditional form, which were usually made of sycamore. We have never come across such a large pair, and also never seen ones in boxwood, a rare item. The pair have an excellent honey colour and patination.
