S/4010 Antique Treen 19th Century Painted Staved Lidded Tankard

An interesting Swedish painted pine lidded and staved tankard of circular and tapered form, having a body bound in willow and the whole painted green and decorated with flower heads. The wooden hinged lid has a carved central star, all with original paintwork and is in good condition throughout.
