An extremely fine quality rare 18th century Georgian boxwood church warden's pipe, having a bone mouth piece and two small extended feet to support the bowl in an upright position when on a table. They were usually made of clay, and this is the first one we have seen made of boxwood, and can be considered a must for the collector of rare and unusual items of treen.
