S/4092 Antique Treen Burr Boxwood Spice Flask

A lovely burr boxwood spice flask in three screw sections, having a top with an acorn and ball finial, that unscrews to reveal six small holes leading to the interior. The body, of globular form, unscrews from the base, which allows access to the interior. It is raised on a stepped concave stem, which in turn is seated on a ring turned ornamental foot. The whole has a most wonderful pale honey colour, is well grained and has a good patination.
