S/4086 Antique Treen 19th Century Sycamore Eden Vale Goose Wing Knitting Sheath

An attractive sycamore Eden Vale goose wing knitting sheath, having a chip carved edge and oval inset bone plaque inscribed Ann Snaith 1839. It has a turned and fluted handle at the needle end. The wood is of an unusual colour and is stained a grey shade, retaining a good overall patination.
