S/4109 Antique Treen Late Victorian Sycamore Right Handed Invalid Spoon

A late Victorian sycamore right handed invalid spoon, mentioned in Treen for the Table by Jonathan Levi on page 121, and said to be uncommon. Note the angle of the bowl in relation to the S shaped handle, which facilitates tilting into the mouth. The whole has a pale colour and good patination.
