S/4127 Antique 19th Century Burr Oak Tobacco Box

A late 19th century burr oak octagonal tobacco box, having a fitted lid and knob handle, with moulded and stepped sides. The conforming base has a rounded plinth. The whole has an exceptional rich colour, grain and patination as often found in burr oak.
