S/4141 Antique Treen 19th Century Boxwood Snuff Box

A delightful and unusual circular boxwood snuff box in three sections, having a top with incised designs circling a round centre piece of darker wood, which is repeated on the decorated base. When the centre of the decorated base is pushed it raises the snuff box as a separate item, which has a screw lid. The whole has concave sides and has a lovely honey colour and good patination.
