S/4133 Antique Treen 18th Century Pear Wood Long Handled Spoon

A rare and extremely fine 18th century pear wood Scottish long handled spoon, in the manner of a basting spoon, carved from a solid piece of pear wood. It has a shaped handle and a magnificent bowl of extra large proportions. It is a lovely and extremely rare item for the serious collector, retaining a patination.
