S/4152 Antique Treen 18th Century Beech Wine Taster

An 18th century Georgian Period single handled beech wine taster known as a taste de vin, which were attractive small bowls with a single lug handle. They were used for tasting wine and are difficult to find these days. It has excellent pole lathe turnings on both the inside and outside. The whole has a lovely rich colour and good patination.
