S/4145 Antique Treen 18th Century Circular Oak Lidded Box

A well turned early 18th century circular oak lidded box, having a slightly domed fitted lid that has five concentric circles of incised lines. The base, conforming with the lid, has a concave stepped and rounded foot. The whole has an excellent grain, colour and patination.

Interior depth: 0.5 in. (1.25 cm.)
