S/4208 Antique 19th Century Sailor's Carved Coconut Basket

A small sailor's carved coconut basket, having edges all chip carved, with the overhead handle and body extensively carved with geometric patterns, and centered by a thistle and leaves with the initials H.G. The whole has a lovely rich colour and patination.
