S/4211 Antique Treen 19th Century Fruitwood Life Preserver

A good Victorian fruitwood life preserver, having a slightly tapered handle with a string hole and incised lines to ensure a good grip, that is attached to the separately shaped ball by four strands of leather. The whole is in good condition, of a good colour and patination.
