S/4218 Antique Treen 19th Century Yew Wood Rolling Pin

An excellent solid yew wood convex rolling pin, having attractive protruding acorn finials to each end. Rolling pins of convex form were used for making curved pie crusts thin and the middle is thicker round the edges, see Pinto page 141. The whole has a lovely colour, grain and patination.
