S/4224 Antique 19th Century Rosewood Lidded Box
A small rosewood lidded box, now lined in red baize and ideal for jewellery or trinkets. The lid is inset with an arrangement of brass stars etc. in a geometric pattern. It has a fitted brass lock and key and an inset brass escutcheon plate. The whole has a medium colour and retains a patination. It would make an ideal present.
