S/4231 Antique 19th Century Pair of Tole Ware Candle Snuffer Trays

A good pair of early 19th century tole ware candle snuffer trays, tole ware items are most often damaged and worn, these are the exception and are in remarkable fine and original condition. The shaped trays have gilded borders on black grounds and are profusely decorated and gilded with scrolling grasses, leaves and flowers, the heads of which have been done in natural colours.
