S/4242 Antique Treen 19th Century Mahogany Snuff Shoe

A pleasing late Victorian mahogany snuff shoe, having a swivelling lid on a brass pin that is carved with the date of 1892, and is within a conforming border of two incised lines. It has a rounded toe, lace holes and a protruding heal, and a good colour and patination.
