S/4246 Antique Late 17th or Early 18th Century Pair of Steel Ember Tongs
A fine pair of late 17th or early 18th century steel ember tongs, having sprung handles with one engraved with cross hatched decoration, and with a raised pipe tamper of traditional form. The rounded shaft has a collar midway and flat shaped jaws to hold the ember.
