S/4266 Antique Treen 19th Century Mahogany Screw Type Nutcracker

An excellent quality mahogany screw type nutcracker, having a tapered octagonal handle with a wooden screw thread, that enters the top section with a conforming octagonal leaf carved collar. The rounded top is intricately carved all over with a leaf design surrounding the circular opening for the nut to be placed. The whole has a good rich colour and patination.
