S/4282 Antique Treen 19th Century Laburnum Wood Snuff Box

A most attractive 19th century laburnum wood snuff box, having scalloped sides and a sliding lid. The whole is inlaid with bone hearts and diamonds, which are symbolic of love symbols, often found on Welsh items of treen, especially love spoons. The whole retains a patination.
