S/4290 Antique Treen 19th Century Walnut Nutcracker

A substantial solid walnut barrel shaped nutcracker, probably for walnuts, having a body with three pairs of incised lines and the thumb piece with faceted decoration. It has discoloured ink stains to one side, and retains a patination.
