S/4371 Antique Treen 19th Century Cocus Wood Kazoo (flute)

A cocus wood kazoo (eunuch flute), having a brass collar with four apertures and the body with a further three finger holes. We have been unable to make a satisfactory sound and there is doubt on the art of using it with both ends being open. The whole has a rich dark colour and retains a patination.
