S/4379 Antique Treen 19th Century Pear Wood Needle Case Cricket Bat

A most unusual pear wood needle case in the form of a miniature cricket bat, having a hollow handle bound in thread, that pulls out to reveal a vacant circular full length interior. The whole has a pale colour and retains a patination.
