S/4384 Antique Treen Late Victorian Lignum Vitae Tobacco Jar

A solid and well turned lignum vitae tobacco jar, having a fitted lid with a central knob handle and reeded turnings, conforming with the base, that has reeded incised line and moulded decoration. It is made mostly of heart wood with an excellent colour and patination.
