S/4328 Antique Treen 19th Century Pine Yorkshire Bread, Oat Cake or Bacon Flake Stand

A 19th century pine Yorkshire bread, oat cake or bacon flake stand, which were either placed on a table or more often hung from the ceiling, which would protect food from being scavenged by domestic animals or rodents. The rungs are dowelled and copper riveted to the side rails, and it is in a scrubbed and unpolished state. It is a real piece of domestic heritage and difficult to date.
