S/4419 Antique Treen 19th Century Birch Two Tier Egg Stand

A most attractive and useful Victorian birch two tier egg stand, having a lower platform with circular holes for twelve eggs, that is raised on three turned feet, with the upper platform for a further twelve eggs. The whole is held in position by a central support, which unscrews with a wooden nut at the base, and is made up of two separate sections. It has an excellent rich colour and patination, and the lower platform has been restored.
