S/4374 Antique Arts and Crafts 19th Century Walnut Silver Plated Ceremonial Handled Bowl
An exceptional walnut Arts and Crafts silver plated ceremonial handled bowl, having a rim and foot with plated bands and the bowl with an applied complicated monogram and inscription reading 'pava est sed proteget umbra'. The tapered handle has a substantial shaped plated fixing and a further plated end cap, and all is of exceptionally good quality and workmanship. The bowl has a faded and shaded colour and retains a patination.
